Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Ingredients
  • 2¾ cups of 35% whipping cream
  • 1½ cups of 2%milk
  • 1½ cups of sugar
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1¼ teaspoons of sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Instructions
  1. Set the ice cream maker up and have it turned on.
  2. Slowly add the ice cream base and churn following the manufacturer's directions.
  3. This usually takes between 20 - 40 minutes.
  4. Scrape the finished ice cream into a freezer safe container.
  5. Stir in any additions you'd like to add.
  6. Add half of the remaining caramel and lightly swirl it into the ice cream.
  7. Place the container into the freezer to slightly firm up.
