Ingredients
  • Tri Tip Roast
  • granulated garlic
  • seasoning salt
  • paprika
  • dry mustard
  • onion powder
  • Everything Bagel seasoning
Instructions
  1. Rub the meat down well and wrap in plastic wrap or vacuum seal.
  2. Place in refrigeration for a few hour up to a few days.
  3. Roast at a low temperature of 225F for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until an internal temperature of 125F is reached.
  4. Pull it at an internal temperature of 125F.
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool fully.
  6. To finish the Tri Tip pan sear it in butter, using a large spoon to baste it with the butter.
  7. We were looking to achieve a medium rare finish that is 130F -135F.
  8. Remove it from the pan and allow the Tri Tip to rest for 5 - 10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Slice against the grain and serve.
